Inspired by memories of Cindy's great-great-aunt who lived next door to her grandfather's farm in Southern Indiana, we couldn't think of anyone more special to honor with this very special namesake. Keeping Aunt Louisa's memory and our family traditions alive with each and every seed we sow, we take pride in growing our farm from century-old roots.  

From the delicate Dahlias in the cut flower gardens to the lucious heirloom tomatoes in the vegetable gardens, we start with the very best seeds from Johnny's and other high-quality seed companies for our flowers and vegetables. 

Aunt Louisa's Garden represents one of our country's most important  foundations: The family farm. She inspired us to recreate the semi-modern version of the family farm for our growing family.

Snuggled into over 130 acres of county and private land, JC Legacy Farms is surrounded by countless silver, red and sugar maple trees. Farmer Jay had always dreamed of tapping maples for sap...and finally got his chance in February of this year! 

A welder/fabricator by trade, Jay made his very own custom, 3 section evaporator, where he spent several weekends in the shack, boiling off gallons and gallons of maple sap. The result was the sweetest, purest, most beautiful maple syrup! Even the most experienced maple syrup taste testers absolutely raved about the taste and purity of his syrup.
